Very decorative replica of battle axe from about 1460 AD. This type of axe was especially popular amoung cavalry units involved in close combat.
Our Medieval War Axe is crafted from steel with a wooden shaft. The head is decorated with 3 crosses and it features a pick on the back for penetrating armour. This axe has a blunt blade and is manufactured for display.
