The dice are based on historical models that were used in the ancient times. Various archaeological finds prove that similar dice were very popular in Roman times.The characteristic circular eyes give the dice their distinctive look. As each dice is handmade, the exact position of the eyes, the angles and the length of the sides may vary slightly, making each dice unique. However, these small imperfections add to the authentic, historic character of each dice.
Each dice comes with a polished finish against corrosion. Made from ETHICALLY SOURCED BOVINE HORN, it is highly robust and offers longevity.

The dice are made from animal horn. Our raw supplies are sourced ethically from renewable resources, often recycling a ’waste’ product from the meat industry and as a result preventing it from ending up in landfill. The majority of our finished products are biodegradable and/or recyclable, making a truly ecological product.
